There's a struggle to find a space where you belong, not to mention the misrepresentation that's experienced in the media and more.
Not many people understand, nor are they willing to. That being said, there are some people who can help in the LGBTQ+ community. These lovely humans even created podcasts to offer a safe space for their fellow trans brothers and sisters.
So if you're having a tough time embracing who you are or just want to feel understood, listening to these podcasts will do the trick!
1. Transition Transmission Transgender Podcast
This is a podcast by and for transgender, intersex, and gender questioning individuals. Each episodes discusses the lives of the host, along with what's happening in the news that concerns the LGBTQ+ community. Informative and insightful, you'll have no problem relating to the stories told on this podcast.
2. Pink Mafia LGBT - For Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community
Edward Mark Fitzgerald hosts this podcast on behalf of Cork City Community Radio, Ireland. Though there are only a few episodes, it's worth hearing the stories showcased on this podcast. They serve as a reminder that you're not alone.
