Bring ONE Grey's Character Back To Life! Who Would You Choose? Vote Here!
Grey's Anatomy has given us some of our favorite characters through the years, but it's also taken them away from us. It's hard to move on and see a silver lining when the doctors (and patients) are unexpectedly ripped from us. Grey's Anatomy has definitely made us cry more times than it hasn't.
Which Grey's characters do you miss most? It might be a doctor or even a patient, either way they do a great job of growing on us. When we lose a character, it takes a while for things around the hospital to go back to normal. And sometimes, they never really do! Go ahead and vote on which Grey's character you could bring back to life if you could. See how many people agree with you, too!
Derek Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey) A.K.A. McDreamy was taken from us way too soon. Although he got off to a rocky start when we found out he was dating Meredith while married to Addison, he really grew on us. He served Grey Sloan as a world class neurosurgeon and spent time as Chief of Surgery. And of course his most important role was Meredith's one true love.
George O'Malley (T.R. Knight) died a hero. He got off to a rough start as an intern, but himself and his friends never lost faith in his abilities. After working at the hospital as a surgeon, he decided he wanted to join the Army. However, before he could do so he jumped in front of a bus to save a woman's life. Everyone knew George for his his kind-hearted and compassionate personality.
Lexie Grey (Chyler Leigh) has really grown on us since she first showed up in season 3. As Meredith's half-sister, she had a hard time adjusting to the culture of the hospital. She is intelligent beyond her years, making her a great asset to the hospital. She eventually became close with Meredith and developed a serious relationship with Mark. Her life was abruptly cut short during the plane crash in season 8.
Mark Sloan (Eric Dane) also knows as McSteamy was a tough one to let go. He's intelligent, handsome, and a plastic surgery genius. Mark was Derek's childhood best friend until he slept with Derek's wife, Addison (Kate Walsh). However, the two eventually made up and Mark was well liked at the hospital, despite being known as a player. He eventually died due to complications from the plane crash.
Denny Duquette was a patient at the hospital who has grown on us the most. His time on the series is greatly defined by his epic love story with his doctor, Izzie Stevens (Katherine Heigl). He eventually asks her to marry him shortly before he dies of a stroke following a heart transplant. Denny was kind, funny, and a pleasure to have around as a patient.
