We're lucky enough to say that some of our favorite books throughout the years have been adapted into hit movies. What's better than finishing up your novel only to find out you'll get to watch it too? It sounds great in theory, but not all movie adaptations of books are successful! Too often we find ourselves walking away from a movie disappointed, realizing the book takes the cake.
However, sometimes the film adaptation is exactly what we needed. Can you think of any books that were successfully adapted into movies? What about any failures?

Twilight

It didn't take long for Stephanie Meyer's Twilight four-novel series to be recreated into hit movies. Twilight tells the vicious story of a teenage girl who falls in love with a vampire.
