Wisconsin! What a state, what a great state. Many know that Wisconsin is one of the fifty states that make up the United States of America. Nestled deep in the Midwestern United States, Wisconsin is a gem of a state, comprised of kind people, good cooking, and its very own style of life. Which comes complete with its own dialect, mannerisms, lingo, favorite foods, favorite ways of vacationing (Up North, eh?), cheering on local favorite sports teams, worshiping beer and cheese, and of course, cheering on the Packers! Sound good? Definitely! Who wouldn't want to be apart of this great Wisconsin state culture? As a matter of fact, Wisconsin is the 23rd largest state by total area and the 20th most populous state. It is bordered by Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois, and Michigan as well as a few Great Lakes, including Lake Superior and Lake Michigan. Because of its Northern location and proximity to the Great Lakes, Wisconsin is no stranger to cold, harsh winters, but is also quite familiar with hot summers, beautiful autumns, and breezy springs. This is a state that really experiences it all, from the good to the bad and everything in between. Wisconsin locals tend to consider construction as a fifth unofficial season and they know all too well about potholes! Those are just part of the difficulties that come with living in Wisconsin, even though there are many rewards as well. If all of this sounds familiar, odds are that one possesses all the knowledge that a true local does about this great state of Wisconsin. Up for the challenge?
