Queen is a British rock band that was formed in 1970 in London with Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon. May and Taylor had been in a band together called Smile before they formed Queen with Mercury who was a fan of their band. Queen is known for it's out-there sounds and unique style of songwriting that never has a pattern or theme. Each song is different and unique in their own way but one of their most famous and iconic songs is the ballot, "Bohemian Rhapsody" written by Mercury which was released in 1975 on the band's forth album "A Night at the Opera." The song remained at number one on the United Kingdom's Singles Chart for nine weeks and over a million copies of the album were purchased by the end of January 1976. It hit number one again in 1991 when the song was re-released in honor of Mercury's death and became the United Kingdom's third best-selling single of all time. "Bohemian Rhapsody" is one of the best-selling singles of all time selling over six million copies worldwide. It hit the American Billboard 100 at number two in 1992 after being featured in the comedy movie, "Wayne's World" starring Mike Myers and Dana Carvey. If you think you are a die-hard Queen fan and know this iconic hit song like the back of your hand then this quiz is just for you.
