Since her father was elected President, Ivanka Trump has tirelessly tried to position herself as a women's rights champion of the current administration.

But actions speak louder than words — and sometimes silence speaks even louder.

Ivanka has explicitly refused to express her personal views on abortion, saying they aren't pertinent.

"I don't express my views on policy, with one exception as it relates to child care and advocating for women," she said at the Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit in October 2016.

Despite the fact that reproductive health care access is an issue that most women's rights advocates have always been outspoken about, it seems that Ivanka doesn't view abortion as an important women's advocacy issue.

According to Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards' new memoir, Making Trouble, Ivanka and husband Jared Kushner attempted to "bribe" Planned Parenthood to stop all abortion services if it wanted to continue receiving federal funding.

Ivanka may want to remain tight-lipped on her personal views on abortion, but her insinuation that abortions are not an important part of women's health care access seems to say it all.

As one of the President's closest and most trusted official advisors, Ivanka is slowly revealing herself to be nothing more than a self-serving nepotist in faux-feminist clothing.
