1. Find a creative hobby.
Whether you’re into photography, cooking, painting, or playing music, finding a creative outlet that you enjoy is a great and productive way to spend your alone time.
2. Go for a walk, run, bike ride, or drive.
There’s something so peaceful about traveling down a long road by yourself with nothing but your own thoughts to keep you company.
3. Escape with a book or a journal.
Reading and writing are excellent ways for introverts to get inside their own heads or even inside another world.
4. Exercise by yourself.
Single-person exercises such as yoga, pilates, and dance can be healthy outlets to engage in physical activity while still being able to meditate.
5. Listen to music.
Sometimes introverts really just need to put in some earbuds, turn up the volume, and forget about the external world.
6. Clean the house.
It can be extremely satisfying and rejuvenating for introverts to take charge of their living space while they are alone. Light some candles, put on some music, and don’t stop cleaning until your place is spotless.
7. Binge-watch movies or TV.
Everyone loves a good Netflix binge, especially introverts. Don’t feel guilty about skipping out on that weekend party if all you really want to do is get some R&R.
8. Cuddle with a pet.
Furbabies provide companionship and affection — without the draining interaction that often comes with hanging out with humans.
