Wondering which house you'll get on this Game of Thrones quiz? Game of Thrones is HBO's iconic television series based on the critically acclaimed book series "A Song of Ice and Fire" by George R. R. Martin. The show has seen many characters come and go, but most notably involves Jon Snow (Kit Harington), Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage), Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), and Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey). Game of Thrones swept the nation with its hypnotizing and complicated storylines and beautiful cinematography. Want to know more about Game of Thrones? Well, did you know it cost more than $10 million to shoot each episode of season 6? In fact, it is said that the final six episodes of the series will cost around $15 million each to produce! Which means it is actually cheaper than season 6 by a mere $100 million in total.

Also, Kit Harington was almost not the Jon Snow we know and love! In fact, the person who plays Ramsay Snow Bolton, Iwan Rheon, was the runner up for the character.

The role of Cersei Lannister, played by Lena Headey, was also originally supposed to go to Carice van Houten, who now plays Melisandre. Carice was unable to attend the audition of Cersei Lannister due to the filming of her role in another show.

Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark, adopted her direwolf, "Lady", in real life, as they bonded whilst filming the show.

Peter Dinklage was the only actor that was considered to play Tyrion. George R.R. Martin said there were two roles he and the showrunners agreed on instantly: Peter Dinklage for Tyrion Lannister and Sean Bean for Ned Stark.
