All About The Voice's YouTube Dad, Dave Crosby, And Daughter Claire
The season 13 premiere of The Voice featured a number of talented acts, but one stood out in particular — and technically, this artist wasn't even auditioning for a spot in the competition! Artist Dave Crosby, who landed on coach Adam Levine's team, brought his adorable daughter, Claire Ryann, on stage to sing Randy Newman's "You've Got a Friend in Me" after his own audition, for which he sang Death Cab for Cutie's "I WIll Follow You Into the Dark."
Who Is Dave Crosby and Why Is He Famous?
Dave Crosby is a 30-year-old from Salt Lake City, Utah, who now lives in Seattle, Washington, with his wife, Ashley, daughter, Claire, and son, Carson. His claim to fame is through his 4-year-old daughter, whose popularity singing (with her dad's accompaniment, of course) on their YouTube channel landed them a segment on Little Big Shots and multiple interviews on The Ellen Show.
Their video singing "You've Got a Friend in Me" has just under 17 million views on YouTube.
Beyond her singing skills, Claire's personality shone during their appearance on The Ellen Show, with Claire telling Ellen DeGeneres, "I like that you can sing so much," when asked what she likes about singing. Well, she had a point: technically, more is more.
For more on Dave and Claire, watch The Voice Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
