It's that time of the year again! Bachelor in Paradise is coming to an end, and The Bachelor will begin filming soon! With that, we will finally be able to answer the question everyone in Bachelor Nation has been wondering: Who is The Bachelor season 22?

Even though there hasn't been an official announcement, we do have a number of hints as to who the season 22 Bachelor will — or will not — be.

Everything We Know About The Bachelor Season 22

When looking for clues about the 2018 Bachelor, look no further than the show's creator, Mike Fleiss. He recently tweeted the latest Bachelor power rankings, revealing that fans favor Peter Kraus for the leading role, followed by Wells Adams, Ben Zorn, Eric Bigger and Chase McNary.

Fleiss then announced that the next Bachelor will not be from The Bachelorette season 12, JoJo Fletcher's season, ruling out Wells and Chase. (For anyone who needs consolation regarding the Wells news, let's keep holding out hope that his awesome job as the bartender on Bachelor in Paradise will lead to other opportunities within the franchise!)

After his exit on Rachel Lindsay's season of The Bachelorette, there were a ton of fans begging for Dean Unglert to be the next Bachelor. However, Fleiss already bursted that bubble and confirmed that Dean will not be the next Bachelor — that is, not for season 22.

With strong support from Bachelor Nation, it's possible that the poll leader, Peter Kraus, is the next Bachelor, although Fleiss does warn that "all options are on the table." Frankly, we wouldn't be surprised if underdogs Ben Z or Eric Bigger became the Bachelor in 2018.
