Teen Wolf's Dylan O’Brien Kept Stiles’ Jeep, And More Cast Souvenirs
Ask and you shall receive! As we prepare for the series finale of MTV's Teen Wolf, show creator Jeff Davis exclusively revealed to Women.com which props each cast member took from the set. Who had the best get? Hands down, that would be Dylan O'Brien, who managed to keep Stiles Stilinski's signature Jeep.
"He wanted the Jeep!" Jeff told us. "Actually, we weren't sure if he should actually be driving it because it's a pretty old Jeep and not very reliable, but if he wants it for just a memento, we're fine with that." Sigh. Could we love this news any more than we already do?
The Jeep, a light blue 1980 CJ-5, has been a part of Stiles' storyline since season 1, so it makes perfect sense that Dylan would feel a strong connection with the vehicle. Not only was it the scene for many drives with his best friend Scott McCall (Tyler Posey) in earlier seasons, it was also where Stiles told Lydia Martin (Holland Roden), "Remember, I love you," during the Season 6 premiere just before the Ghost Riders erased Stiles from all of his loved ones' memories. And, of course, we all know the Jeep played a key role in bringing Stiles back into everyone's memories.
Stiles' Jeep will be making one final appearance during the Teen Wolf series finale, as seen in the sneak peek below in which Stiles and Derek Hale (Tyler Hoechlin) return to Beacon Hills.
As for other show souvenirs, Jeff took an Oni sword, a lacrosse stick, and a Dread Doctor weapon. "I love the clever props, especially the weapons," he said.
Ryan Kelley, who plays Deputy Jordan Parrish on the show, will forever be a member of the Beacon County Sheriff's Station, as he snagged his character's badge and shirt. Meanwhile, Cody Christian (Theo Raeken) grabbed his Dread Doctor mask.
All in all, Jeff noted, "The actors are very nostalgic about it, which I love." We love it, too.
Watch the series finale of Teen Wolf on Sunday, September 24, at 8 p.m. ET on MTV.
