Supernatural Season 13 Spoilers: Is Crowley Dead?
Supernatural is coming back for season 13 on Thursday, October 12, but if we're being honest, we're not totally over the season 12 finale. Since we are on the edge of our seats waiting to find out if our favorite characters' deaths are going to stick during Supernatural season 13, we have to ask: Is Crowley dead?
Supernatural Season 13 | Is Crowley Really Dead?
Although the official episode description for the season 13 premiere, "Lost and Found," mentions Crowley's demise, we still want further confirmation, because you can never be too sure when it comes to the world of monsters and demons.
"Season 13 begins with Sam and Dean picking up the pieces after the loss of their mother, the demise of Crowley and the heartbreaking death of Castiel. Meanwhile, the birth of Jack leaves the brothers with differing opinions on how to deal with a Nephilim; and Mary, after being dragged into the breach, must learn to survive Lucifer and an apocalyptic world."
Sadly, Crowley is 100% dead, actor Mark Sheppard confirmed quite frankly on Twitter.
One last time, amigos. Crowley's death is not a "bit". I have been honest and tried to avoid any confusion. I will not be returning to SPN.— Mark Sheppard (@Mark_Sheppard) May 29, 2017
We guess Crowley sacrificing himself in order to help the Winchester brothers just wouldn't have the same effect if he didn't, you know, actually sacrifice himself.
Not to fear, Crowley fans! Sheppard will be around in other roles, as he promised on Instagram, "Time for something new." Hopefully that new thing involves supernatural beings.
Supernatural season 13 premieres Thursday, October 12, at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
