Season 7 Trailer
The season 7 trailer takes us back to Storybrooke and back to the series premiere, when young Henry (Jared S. Gilmore) first approached Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) with the story book. Since that story ended at the end of season 6, the trailer introduces a new book, placed on top of the previous one, and we see a parallel situation with adult Henry (Andrew J. West) meeting his daughter, Lucy (Alison Fernandez). Watch it happen in the clip above!
Season 7 Premiere Sneak Peek
In the season 7 sneak peek above, we see the scene in which young Henry leaves his home with Regina (Lana Parrilla) to embark on his own story, explaining the bridge between the story that unraveled from seasons 1 through 6 in Storybrooke to the new story in Hyperion Heights, with all new, yet still familiar, characters.
Once Upon A Time Season 7 Cast And Photos
Non-Returning Cast Members
The end of season 6 saw many happy endings for our favorite characters, meaning they will not be returning as series regulars for season 7. And although, we can hold out hope for occasional returns, Jennifer Morrison, Ginnifer Goodwin (Snow White), Josh Dallas (Prince Charming), Jared S. Gilmore and Emilie de Ravin (Belle) will not be making weekly appearances.
The good news: There are new things to look forward to!
Returning Cast Members
Andrew J. West will be back as an adult Henry Mills. He'll play a central role in Hyperion Heights, and playing into his Prince Charming lineage, he will be married to our new Cinderella.
The Evil Queen
Lana Parrilla will be back to play Regina/The Evil Queen, although with a new persona entirely. In Hyperion Heights, Regina goes by Roni and owns a local bar.
Colin O'Donoghue is reprising his role as Hook, although his life will look a bit different without Emma by his side. Fortunately, we know Hook and Emma are happily together, and we will find out more on that after the premiere episode.
Robert Carlyle will be back as Rumplestiltskin, although we don't know too much about his role quite yet. We do know that we'll find out more about his experiences with Belle and their son Gideon during episode 4 of the new season.
New Cast Members
Alison Fernandez joins the cast as Lucy. She plays Henry and Cinderella's daughter, and seems to be filling the role that young Henry played during season 1.
Dania Ramirez joins the cast as Cinderella, a completely different iteration of the character we've seen in previous seasons. She's married to Henry and is mother to Lucy.
Gabrielle Anwar plays Lady Tremaine, Cinderella's evil stepmother and the villain, although, unlike the Evil Queen in earlier seasons, we don't know whether she's the one behind the spell over the Hyperion Heights characters.
Adelaide Kane plays Drizella, resident mean girl and Cinderella's wicked stepsister.
Mekia Cox plays Princess Tiana, and she'll be pretty similar to the Tiana we know and love from The Princess and The Frog, but with a richer backstory.
Rose Reynolds brings a new Alice to Hyperion Heights. Rose described her character as a "streetwise orphan" to Entertainment Weekly.
Once Upon A Time season 7 premieres Friday, October 6, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
