The talented 12-year-old — who still gets "super duper nervous, like I'm almost going to puke" when she goes on stage, she told The Wrap — brought two puppet friends on stage for her finale performance on Tuesday, September 19: A mouse named Oscar and a bunny named Petunia. The two characters sang "With A Little Help From My Friends", written by Paul McCartney and John Lennon. As Petunia aptly pointed out, "That's funny, a mouse and a bunny singing a song written by two Beatles."
After Oscar instructed, "Darci, you just stand there with your mouth closed, like you always do," the puppets sang their little hearts out in a duet. Or rather, Darci Lynne sang her heart out in two character voices with her mouth closed, dueting with herself, as one does...
Will Darci Lynne Win America's Got Talent?
