It is almost time to find out who our next Bachelor is, which means show creator Mike Fleiss is tweeting out clues for Bachelor Nation to assess ahead of the season 22 announcement. Based on these hints, we have a pretty good feeling we know who our next leading man is. Here's why we think Ben Zorn is the next Bachelor.

All The Clues That Ben Z Is The Next Bachelor

The first clue that Ben Z was in the running to be the next Bachelor came when Fleiss tweeted the newest Bachelor power rankings — which were informal fan votes on who should be the next Bachelor. Our man came in third on that list, behind Peter Kraus and Wells Adams, and ahead of Eric Bigger and Chase McNary.

Additional Bachelor contenders who had appeared on previous power rankings also included Dean Unglert, Luke Pell, Ben Higgins and Arie Luyendyk, Jr.

Before the game could really begin, Ben H announced he is not ready to be The Bachelor again so soon after his split from former fiancée Lauren Bushnell, so we can cross him off the list. Additionally, Eric revealed that he had not been asked to be the next Bachelor, causing us to speculate that he probably isn't our guy.

The next clue Fleiss gave was that the next Bachelor is not from JoJo Fletcher's season of The Bachelorette, this eliminating Wells, Chase and Luke from the competition.

Then, Fleiss quite frankly announced that Dean is not the next Bachelor on Twitter... at least not for the 2018 season.

And more recently, Fleiss flatly announced that we shouldn't hold out hope that Peter is the next Bachelor if we don't want to be sorely disappointed.

This revelation left us mildly shook, because even Reality Steve said Peter is the next Bachelor. Granted, he's been wrong before, but typically, he knows what he's talking about — but when he retweeted Fleiss' tweet, it lead us to think something changed.

From the original list, that leaves only Ben Z and Arie, which brings us to another one of Fleiss' clues: "Wells is not #TheBachelor ... But you're getting warmer!"

This begs the question: Who is more similar to Wells, Ben Z or Arie?

The answer is, hands down, Ben Z. Both Wells and Ben Z went home during week six of their respective seasons of The Bachelorette. They also both appeared as contestants on Bachelor in Paradise. They both famously love their dogs, with Wells managing his dog's Instagram account and Ben Z talking about his dog nonstop during this season of Bachelor in Paradise.

We also can't forget that Ben Z was a frontrunner for The Bachelor a few seasons back, and his re-introduction to Bachelor Nation this summer hasn't gone unnoticed.

When "all options are on the table," we can't help but think that Ben Z is the next Bachelor!
