You're Cleaning Your Wedding Ring All Wrong
Here are the REAL simple steps you need to know to get that sparkle!
You don't need to bring that ring to a fancy jeweler to get the shine you really want. Check out the three simple methods below to get your diamond sparkling!
Warm Water + Dish Washing Soap
Soak your ring for about 20 to 40 minutes, gently brush the stone with a very soft toothbrush, and then rinse under warm running water. If needed, repeat.
Using a steam cleaner with high pressure steam, hold your ring under the steam for 10 seconds using tongs. Do not use your fingers, as the steam gets very hot and can burn you.
Ammonia + Water
Using rubber gloves, drop your ring into a solution of 1/4 part ammonia, 3/4 water and use a soft toothbrush to gently scrub away dirt and muck. Rinse the ring clean with water and then leave on a soft cloth to air dry.
