On Sunday night, Drake released his latest album titled Views to Apple Music... 2 days later, he's making history.

About a month ago, Drake teased followers with this instagram post:

On Sunday, "Please Forgive Me" came into fruition and the project featuring new music from his latest album, Views was finally open to the public on Apple Music.

Set in Johannesburg, South Africa, this 20-minute short film stars Champagne Papi himself with Fanny Neguesha and Popcaan trying to make some serious cash. Of course, the deal goes awry and a sketchy adventure jam-packed with explosions, shootings and car chases ensues.

As promised, the film included songs from Views titled, "Controlla," "One Dance," "Summer's Over Interlude" and more.

The video, co-directed by Drake and Anthony Mandler, has now broken world-wide records with Apple Music. Yesterday, Drake was presented with this award to celebrate his success.

Drake and his team happily accepted this award, knowing how big of a deal it is to shatter records in this day and age.

Of course, this entire ordeal begs one question: when will we get new music? Last week in Tacoma, Drake told Summer Sixteen, "I'm recording new music. I'm about like six, seven new songs in. Just getting warmed up. I don't know what I'm going to do with it, I don't know what it's gonna be."

If one thing is certain, it's that we absolutely cannot wait.
