Priyanka Chopra has been making waves in the US since the 2015 debut of her FBI show, Quantico.
In Quantico, Chopra plays the thrilling character of Alex Parrish. In season one, Alex was an FBI agent in training who was framed for a terrorist attack. This season, audience favorites return for an entirely new batch of episodes that keep every viewer wanting more.
With the second season underway, Priyanka is making her rounds and has already appeared as a guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel and Live With Kelly. Today, it was confirmed that Priyanka will appear on The Ellen Degeneres Show this season to promote Quantico. Already, fans are getting excited by using #PConEllen to show their support for the wildly popular rising star.
For Chopra, this is a very big accomplishment. The 34-year-old actress will be the very first Bollywood actress to appear as a guest on Ellen's famous show. Among her other "firsts", Priyanka was also the very first South Asian actress to play the lead on an American thriller series. Additionally, she received the People's Choice Award for "Favorite Actress In A New TV Series," making her the first South Asian actress to receive a People's Choice Award.
In the near future, Chopra will continue to play Alex Parrish on Quantico and she also plays the main antagonist in Seth Gordon's action-comedy rendition of Baywatch.
