The Lindsay Lohan we all remember from Mean Girls is sounding totally different nowadays.
At 30-years-old, the actress has completely changed her accent and debuted the new sound at the opening of her new Greek nightclub. The accent sounds like a mixture of several European accents and Lohan seems to be putting her own twist on it. When it comes to combining accents in Lohan's world, the limit does not exist.
Lohan's father, Michael, claims that this new accent is no cause of alarm for his daughter. When he spoke with ET today, he said that Lindsay is always learning new languages and that she often switches between them. These languages include but are not limited to: French, Arabic, and Farsi.
He told ET that "Lindsay picks up languages like I pick up a coffee! I will tell you this, she's spoken other languages on the phone with me -- languages I don't understand. I'll be on the phone with her and I'll hear her say something in fluent Farsi to a friend she's with."
Later on, ET spoke with her mother, Dina, to see if she said the same thing.
"I raised Lindsay and all my children to constantly learn different languages and embrace different cultures. Since Lindsay was a kid, she was speaking fluent Italian because my mother is Italian and would only speak to her in it. She taught herself how to speak French, Arabic, Hebrew and the list goes on. Lindsay has a very high IQ and is very intelligent and can pick up on any language in a minute. She has that gift."
Yesterday, Lindsay addressed all of the speculation by tweeting, "What should I call my new accent? I'm thinking #LILOHAN."
