Bratt Pitt Is On Daddy Duty

20th Century Fox

Looks like things are getting better in the daddy department for Brad.

According to Us Weekly, People and E! Online, Pitt has seen some of his children for the very first time since his split with Jolie.

The actor and father of six met with his family sometime on October 8th. It is not certain whether or not the entire clan was there since there is a temporary plan recommended by the Los Angeles Police Department of Children and Family Services in place. The plan was agreed to by both Pitt and Jolie and included a clause stating that a therapist should be present during the meeting.

Last month, Angelina Jolie abruptly filed for divorce and hired reknowned crises manager Judy Smith (the real-life inspiration for Olivia Pope's character on Scandal) to handle her case. At the time, the reason was stated to be "for the health of the family."

With a continuing investigation, Pitt is under scrutiny for possible abuse allegations and has volunteered to undergo routine drug and alcohol testing. Together, the couple share six children: Maddox (15), Pax (12), Zahara (11), Shiloh (10) and their twins Knox and Vivienne (8).

Although he is struggling with all of this, Pitt has been very cooperative. A source close to Pitt said, "He really wants to see the kids and to work out an arrangement that is best for them," an insider previously told us. "[He] wants to work things out privately and amicably."

When it comes to Jolie, she simply believes that this is what is best for now and agrees that they will eventually have a co-parenting relationship once this blows over.
