The duo brought everyone back to their original Empire State of Mind.

Sunday night, Jay-Z and Alicia Keys took us all the way back to 2009 when they performed their 2010 chart-topping hit, "Empire State of Mind." A native New Yorker, Keys really wanted to show the crowd some love.

Fans and cityfolk gathered round in New York City's Times Square to see Grammy-winning Alicia Keys perform the lead single from her new album, "In Common." The record, titled HERE, is due November 4 on RCA.

Since October 9 would have also been John Lennon's 76th birthday, Alicia payed tribute by covering Lennon's "Imagine" to remember the epic Beatle member. To make an even bigger commotion, John Mayer, Nas and Questlove also joined the artist on stage.

HERE will be Keys' first album since her 2012 Grammy-winning Girl on FIre. The new album includes a collaboration with A$AP Rocky titled "Blended Family (What You Do For Love)" and is produced by Swizz Beatz.

Share this with all of your friends who cannot wait for her new album to be HERE!
