Yes, Lindsay Lohan's Next Big Role Is Helping Refugees
The actress is turning her spotlight on Syrian refugees.
Lindsay Lohan wants to help refugees in Turkey with an energy drink.
The actress recently paired up with blue caffeine lemonade Mintanine as a brand ambassador to aid refugees. The German company told press in a statement that Lohan has been working with the company since September. The drink, which is available at Lohan's Greek nightclub, will also be supplied at Syrian refugee camps.
The "Mean Girls" star has shared pictures of herself interacting with Syrian refugees and aid workers in Turkey on social media.
According to the company, 10 euros ($10.90) will be donated to refugee causes for each Bigbox (72 cans) ordered from its online shop.
Lohan has seemingly turned her attention to the political stage. Earlier this year, she unexpectedly live-tweeted the Brexit vote — urging English voters to vote "Remain". In recent months she's lobbied for the UN Security Council to include Turkey.
