A Fox News Anchor Just Told Florida They Were Toast
"And your kids die, too."
If you're in Florida and currently weathering Hurricane Matthew stop what you are doing and don't read this article. If you're from outside of Florida and aren't worried about the latest category 4 hurricane sweeping the country, proceed immediately, because this FOX News anchor just ruined basic reporting skills.
Fox News anchor Shepard Smith was explaining how Hurricane Matthew was expected to hit eastern Florida, but didn't do it in the most assuring of ways.
Check it out here!
Smith advised those affected by the storm that just a slight veer in the path of Matthew could cause major damage and complete annihilation of life. No we're serious.
And then he told Floridians their kids would face the same fate.
To which every viewer who watches FOX News (so many thoughts) was like "wait... WHATTTTTTT???"
That's right, though. He said it.
AND HE DID IT WITH A SMILE, PEOPLE. A SMILE.
But no seriously. No... er... need for panic...
NOTE: As of this reporting we were still unsure of the the status of Shepard Smith 's position at the company.
