7 Pop Culture Moments That Made 2016

It was the worst of times, it was the best of pop times.

We've all heard the theory that 2016 was the worst year ever ad nauseam. It it doesn't beat 2015 as the hottest year on record, 2016 it will be the second hottest. It will also be known as the year that the U.K. voted to leave the European Union, the U.S. voted for Donald Trump, over 300 people were killed in mass shootings. Brangelina split. It took away Prince, David Bowie, Gene Wilder, Muhammad Ali, Florence Henderson, Leonard Cohen, Alan Rickman, Miss Cleo, Garry Marshall, Bill Cunningham away from us. Zoolander 2 happened. No doubt we'll have to be taking long showers well into 2017 to get that stink off.

Luckily pop culture gems made their way into the darkness to get our mind off the horror, check it out!
